Maggie Routledge – Director
Maggie first career as a Solicitor exposed her to a variety of legal issues including divorce, childcare, possession and tribunal work. Maggie also brought to Court one of the very first cases protecting a women’s overriding rights of occupation in their homes when they were not the registered owners. The success of her argument (amongst other cases following on) led to the introduction of the Matrimonial Homes Act 1983. In 1998 she started the model that would become Niche NFP, and has remained focused throughout her careers on speaking up for the unheard.
Guy Routledge – Director
Guy has over 10 years of industry experience covering a wide range of areas including architecture, design, investments, property developments and project management. In 2012 Guy relocated his family to Berlin to research and better understand the mature Private Rented market there and use these insights to inform, shape and develop the Niche NFP Social, Supportive and Affordable Housing Model going forward. Guy has also co-founded a successful and growing Design Studio producing furniture and kitchens during his time in Berlin. Guy holds a 2:1 in Architecture BSc from Bath University.
Linda Baker – Housing Support Officer
Linda has 30yrs of experience working in a supportive role with people of varying ages and support needs. Previous to commencing employment with Niche NFP she worked in a senior role for a registered charity supporting young people and vulnerable adults.
Kate Grist – Housing Support Officer
Kate’s professional work experience covers over 25 years in various roles as a substance misuse worker, senior hostel worker and sheltered housing schemes – Engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness and assisting them with accessing health, housing, social services and mental health resources.
Stephen Pollard – Housing Support Officer
Before joining the Niche Team Stephen’s work had focused on vulnerable young people and with statutory services, assisting young people to access appropriate support from other services (including encouraging/supporting them to persevere until we access the right help!) and working with many types of challenging behaviour.
